Oliver Twist is determined to find a better life for himself.

Raised in a workhouse, where children are forced to work and are abused, he flees to London. His journey is a long one - he accidentally become involved with thieves is misunderstood and just barely avoids prison.

But Oliver´s courage and perseverance eventually lead him to even more than he wished.
